Our partnership with innovative tech firm, Vet-AI
We’re proud to announce that we have helped a pioneering vet tech firm to successfully launch its app.
We first met Vet-AI Co-Founder, Paul Hallett, at one of our Leeds Digital Festival events and were commissioned to take a full user-centred design process to create their ground-breaking mobile app, Joii.
Joii leverages AI and is designed to help pet-owners to look after their pets in a more accessible, affordable and convenient way. Joii offers remote consultations and triage to users, who are able to speak to qualified vets in real time. The app will save customers up to 60% on normal vet fees and offer access to 70% of the normal services.
We’ve supported the team throughout the UCD process, conducting robust research from the initial discovery phase, right thought to brand validation, and launch. (Interested in further details of what we did? Check out the case study here).
We also acted as Vet-AI’s UX partner, providing evidence-based recommendations and general advice to help them make key business decisions. Joii launched in June this year and has already received thousands of downloads to date. Observing real customers using the application naturally so early in the project has ensured that the app launched exceeds user expectations and works as expected.
“Partnering with SimpleUsability means the needs of pet owners have been considered at every stage of the development of the Joii app. The research has spanned early concept testing through to pre-launch testing and has inspired, informed and validated our thinking.”Paul Hallett, Co-founder of Vet-AI
“It’s been great to be alongside Vet-AI on their journey, and to see their continued successes as innovators, market challengers and industry disrupters.”Guy Redwood, Founder and managing director of SimpleUsability
