Our Approach to Retail Research
Here at SimpleUsability we have a passion for understanding consumers and what components lead to a great shopping experience. We firmly believe that the same principles of usability apply to all consumer experience, whether it happens online, in the supermarket or at home. Asking whether a consumer can achieve what they set out to do, and if a brand has been a successful part of that is at the heart of our approach.
But it's not all about consumer advocacy, we also have a passion to see real business impact result from our research. That's why we don't do 'off the shelf' research solutions, in fact we don't believe in them. We believe it's important to gain maximum coverage in each project we undertake and actively seek to engage all stakeholders in the research proposal and design stages. Consumer behaviour is complex and reductionist approaches miss the bigger picture. We typically gain wide ranging input from across our clients businesses and thoroughly question your brief before a single field study has been conducted. No man is an island and we are happy to work alongside your existing provider of traditional research techniques from the very inception of a project. We want to ensure that a) our value to you is maximised and b) real actionable insight can result from our findings. That's why we offer stakeholder workshops for your project debrief and free support for 6 months after every project to help you make maximum use of our findings.
